The Cloud Over Cheney

Wednesday, February 21, 2007; 2:12 PM"What is this case about?" special counsel Patrick J. Fitzgerald asked in his rebuttal to the defense's closing arguments yesterday in the Scooter Libby perjury trial."Is it about something bigger?"And while Fitzgerald never directly answered that second question, he at long last made it quite clear that the depth of Vice President Cheney's role in the leaking of the identity of a CIA operative is one of the central mysteries that Libby's alleged lies prevented investigators from resolving."There is a cloud over the vice president . . . And that cloud remains because this defendant obstructed justice," Fitzgerald said.
"There is a cloud over the White House. Don't you think the FBI and the grand jury and the American people are entitled to straight answers?" Fitzgerald asked the jury.Libby, Fitzgerald continued, "stole the truth from the justice system."
(Indeed and George Bush pardoned him for doing it)



The world would be greatly enlightened if American TV were forced to provide a fair and balanced accounting of Christian terrorism and the faith based funding money laundry that pervades the world. Ten million dollars (that we know of) went from Pat Robertson to Charles Taylor, war criminal. (He hasn't done anything Bush, Cheney or the rest of them haven't done, he is however held ot account under International Law.)





What is entirely reprehensible is this man's behavior and his ability, along with the Bush clan to operate as if their evil deeds were invisible. Aided and abetted by a criminally complicit news media.















While, increasingly the population becomes more and more aware of where the real threat(s) emanate from. Who funded Osama Bin Laden, why hasen't he been captured. Who flew his family from the USA within 48 hours of 9/11 without allowing the FBI or CIA to interrogate them. But people in Iraq, who had nothing to do with 9/11...are sent to Abu Gharib...pu-lease people!
