Rumsfeld Terrorizes Gay Community Once Again

While there are some fairly large fish to fry for the destruction of American democracy, starting with the Supremes, there is one UNELECTED official in the Bush administration who can seem to get away with murder, even more than most.
(You can always tell when this administration is in trouble - they bash our community in their thrust to demand and legislate compulsory heterosexuality....next they will be defining positions for sexual intercourse)!

Pentagon lists homosexuality as mental disorder

Monday, June 19, 2006

Let's see, the American Psychiatric Association declassified homosexuality as a mental disorder in 1973, yet Rummy's crowd still lumps being gay with mental retardation and personality disorders. What about all those queer folks who are serving quite ably? (SFGate):

The document, called a Defense Department Instruction, was condemned by medical professionals, members of Congress and other experts, including the American Psychiatric Association."It is disappointing that certain Department of Defense instructions include homosexuality as a 'mental disorder' more than 30 years after the mental health community recognized that such a classification was a mistake," said Rep. Marty Meehan, D-Mass.Congress members noted that other Pentagon regulations dealing with mental health do not include homosexuality on any lists of psychological disorders. And in a letter to Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld on Monday, nine lawmakers asked for a full review of all documents and policies to ensure they reflect that same standard. http://www.pamspaulding.com/weblog/2006/06/pentagon-lists-homosexuality-as-mental.html
Here we have Donald Rumsfeld meeting with Saddam Hussein and arranging the sale of weapons of mass destruction to Hussein.
Who knew he would actually use the poisonous gas the USA has proliferated all over the world.
War criminal Rumsfeld, is wanted in Intl Court, like Henry Kissinger. America's thug administration has opted out of both the Geneva convention and Intl Court, making them essentially a rogue nation, like Hitler's Nazi Germany.

It's a different kind of war

So how does Rumsfeld respond to negative press and global criticism about the mistreatment of prisoners being held in secret detentions centers (as well as the more famous murder holes at Baghram AFB in Afghanistan, Abu Grahaib prison in Iraq and Guantanamo Naval Base in Cuba)?

Simple: By re-writing the rule book that – until now - dictated such behavior as being unacceptable in the US military. Rumsfeld’s thugs are designing a new army field manual that will henceforth eliminate language prohibiting the “humiliating and degrading” treatment of prisoners in US custody. This will end those pesky, irritating investigations of US military personnel (the grunts, never the commanders) terrorizing detainees with dogs, smearing them with fake menstrual blood, forcing them into homoerotic positions with other prisoners, building naked pyramids, leading them around on leashes, hanging them by their arms and legs until those limbs are torn from their sockets, wrapping them in sleeping bags and beating them to death; you know, stuff like that. Nothing wrong with any of this according to Rumsfeld’s new spiffed up training manual. Geneva Convention be damned, prisoner abuse is to be sanctioned and supported, encouraged even. After all, we are in the “first war of the 21st Century” and by god we will conduct ourselves accordingly.

That’s the Bush Crime Family tradition – if a law or stature doesn’t suit their evil ways, just re-write it or eliminate it altogether; or in the case of laws passed by the Congress, simply add a “signing statement” that says screw this – I’m George W. Bush and I’ll do what I want to do. Want to illegally wiretap millions of innocent citizens – forget FISA, there’s no time for FISA – we’re at war (see above). Go ahead, listen in. To everybody. Record it all. Get their Internet files and library records too. Too many whistle-blowers ready to expose Bush’s corporate thieves, killers and cronies? Make such activity – the reporting, not the actual law-breaking – illegal, a felony. Oh, and lock up any pesky journalist who might expose the administration’s more embarrassing and egregious crimes. The US Constitution is just a “goddam piece of paper,” right? Freedom of the press? You must be joking. Wanna protest? Get thee to a First Amendment Zone. Over there, behind the razor wire. And, register first.

Now, there are reports of yet another murder of an innocent Iraqi civilian and yet another (what is this, 30, 40, 150 now?) attempted cover-up by the Marines. When our troops were unable to find the guy they were really looking for, the man next door was dragged from his home, taken to the street, and shot in cold blood. To cover up this murder, a shovel and an AK-47 were placed next to his bullet-riddled body to make it appear he was an insurgent killed while placing a roadside bomb. Investigators have determined that the seven “or so” murdering Marines decided to get their kill regardless after being unable to get their intended target. Any dark, swarthy, non-Christian would do. So how will the Pentagon respond to this latest atrocity? If the new Army Field Manual revisions are any guide, they’ll probably just re-write the guidelines to allow the premeditated murder of random Iraqi civilians. Why not? The Geneva Convention is just another disposable, insignificant goddam piece of paper, right?

When they can legislate who you sleep with, who you love and how to love - what is the point of living?

This disgusting pack of beings, who call themselves human, appear to be devoid of empathy, intellect or emotion. They have two objectives: power and profit with the children of the poor providing the cannon fodder for their sick adventures.

Everything they have done abroad has been kept from the American people and their plan (PNAC) for the destruction of American democracy is rarely mentioned in mainstream media.

When Bush declared the war on terror a CIA officer summed it up:

"What the hell are we going to do - shoot ourselves - because we are behind most of the interference in the world."

It really says it all when war criminals, money launderers and professional prevaricators are are allowed to operate above the law completely impervious to prosecution. Bush, Rumsfeld, Rice and Rove will complete this miserable stint (if they don't stand down for another terror attack first) and walk away untried for treason, abuse of power, obstruction of justice and the list goes on. They always do - since World War II.
