Killing Frodo - the American National Pastime

I think what disgusted me most, during the last run up to the Diebold fix for president, was the mainstream media's complicity in smearing John Kerry.

One has only to do some real research on the Iran-Contra affair and the drug smuggling done by the CIA (under Bush Sr), which was challenged by Kerry, to see how long he has been trying to shed light on the crooks in office.

When Americans can stand and support people who truly did provide a service to the country and not permit their records to be smeared, THEN you might have something.


It seems to me THAT is what decency IS - isn't it? Standing with integrity, truth and commitment for your country?

Why then, do the cretins of commerce, treason and hatred keep winning the White House?

Quit killing Frodo and the truth WILL set you free (at last).

Oct. 25, 2004 In December 1985, when Brian Barger and I wrote a groundbreaking story for the Associated Press about Nicaraguan Contra rebels smuggling cocaine into the United States, one U.S. senator put his political career on the line to follow up our disturbing findings. His name was John Kerry. Yet, over the past year, even as Kerry's heroism as a young Navy officer in Vietnam has become a point of controversy, this act of political courage by a freshman senator has gone virtually unmentioned, even though -- or perhaps because -- it marked Kerry's first challenge to the Bush family.

In early 1986, the 42-year-old Massachusetts Democrat stood almost alone in the U.S. Senate demanding answers about the emerging evidence that CIA-backed Contras were filling their coffers by collaborating with drug traffickers then flooding U.S. borders with cocaine from South America.
