GENEVA, SWITZERLAND, March 31 - Freedom House today released its annual list of the world's most repressive regimes at the United Nations Commission on Human Rights. Six are members of the UN body, charged with monitoring and condemning human rights violations.

The report, "The Worst of the Worst: The World's Most Repressive Societies 2005," includes detailed summations of the dire human rights situations in Belarus, Burma (Myanmar), China, Cuba, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Laos, Libya, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and Zimbabwe. Chechnya, Tibet, and Western Sahara are included as territories under Russian, Chinese, and Moroccan jurisdictions respectively.

THIS is just the type of cynical, manipulative, nastiness we have seen consistently from the Bush criminal corporate coup. Whose side are they on? The USA is broke, the middle class has been razed and left jobless, and permanent tax cuts, offshore shelters and even assistance to move a company offshore is all paid by the tax payer.

Lately, I just keep hearing the music and seeing the scene from "Jesus Christ Superstar", you know the one, the part where Jesus storms in and says, "GET OUT - my house is a place of worship."

Walk your talk before it is too late to save your soul. Talking democracy doesn't make it so,
you have to walk it darlin, and lately - American democracy is not even crawling.
